The gentle curve of the 49 ⅝ inch headboard and the 34 ¼ inch footboard, in addition to their alternating length slats, gleefully suggest a lightness that makes the bed a perfect fit in any size room. The two finishes, Black Walnut (a multi-step process consisting of a base of mocha brown brushed with black antiquing covered in a clear lacquer) and Butter Pecan (a creamy beige base with gold distressing covered in a clear lacquer), make the Maybrook bed a neutral backdrop for any designer’s imagination.
